Jiyeon Sung expresses her imaginative fantasies through photography. She collects fragments of evidence that randomly appear in her dreams. These objects and narratives arise from her conscious and preconscious mind, serving as metaphors for her preferences, aversions, concerns, social issues, and beliefs. By weaving these elements together, she aims to uncover her hidden self and understand its direction. She believes this process will ultimately guide her toward her destination and illuminate her path.

— I was responsible for playing in the back of the band, performing on various unique percussion instruments such as the bass drum, timpani, mallet instruments, snare drum (drum set), cymbals, and others.

— I helped care for rescued animals, such as dogs, that had been in dangerous conditions. I was also responsible for creating posters to raise awareness for animals in need or to help them find new homes.

— I volunteered to photograph events for Make-A-Wish Foundation Korea, which helps special children fulfill their dreams—such as meeting celebrities, performing in concerts, or becoming a police officer. The images I captured helped preserve their precious memories and offered them emotional strength to overcome their illness.

— I volunteered to spend time with socially isolated elders, helping them reconnect with their community. My role included engaging them in conversation, sharing meals, and organizing social activities to foster a sense of belonging and encourage social interaction.
