Most of the subjects of my dreams involve my friends since they take up most of my daily encounters, and this inputs into my subconscious memory. Their faces are often blurred, and often have a hard time recalling who appeared in my dreams when I wake up. To translate these “blurred faces,” I created a project for my yearbook club by photographing 100 classmates using a 30-second long exposure. Each student wrote a short comment under each of their portrait, and I later organized them into slideshows. These comments were categorized by color (yellow for positive, red for negative, and green for neutral). After categorizing them, I paired them with matching colored balloons.
